Faculty Affiliates can have many different roles within The Equity Center, including:
- acting as a mentor for a Community Fellow-in-Residence
- acting as PI or Co-PI on grant funded research submitted through the Equity Center
- supporting structural change in the University
A Faculty Affiliate supports the work of the Equity Center through their community engaged scholarship by thoughtfully adhering to the Mission, Vision, and Values of The Equity Center. You may be asked to:
- serve as a reviewer on community facing proposal committees
- contribute to community research efforts

Community-engaged teaching aims to model and teach students a unified theory of community-based scholarship for social change.
